This then is a sort of 'home' page for the Photo Galleries section.
By holding submitted photographs on sites such as 500px, Flickr and Picassa and accessing them via small pieces of software, I can save a huge amount of webspace (which costs money) and added extra costs from the website hosting service (which, obviously, again costs money). It's not a perfect system, by any means; but it keeps the overheads down - and as this remains a free to view website, that is of paramount importance.
It also showcases what is available to you, the client, as regards displaying photographs.
